HSWF SERVICE UPDATE February 2021

Following the Government announcement on their Road Map to Recovery and our own assessments we can confirm that :

• Our staff will return to office base on Monday 8th March 2021. Core hours will be 8.30am-3pm each day, to allow for some remote meetings and activity to continue, as needed. The office will remain a covid secure space so we are UNABLE TO HAVE VISITORS.

• Volunteer home visits can restart from 1st April- however, these will be risk assessed individually with both family and volunteer by the Co-ordinator to consider health, vulnerability and nature of support and agree a best way forward.

• We will review plans for Family Groups, trips, training and events at the end of April 2021, in line with national progress and guidance.

• Our two Preparation Courses for Volunteers beginning at the end of April are planned to be face to face.

• We have secured further Covid grants to support families this quarter and will be doorstep dropping food and essentials as needed.

Most of all we want to reassure you we are still completely operational as a service and at the end of the phone as usual if we can do anything more to support you.
