Kidderminster Shuttle Toy Appeal
Thank you so much to those members of the community who donated to the Shuttle's Christmas Gift Appeal. As partner in the appeal, Home-Start Wyre Forest was able to deliver over 250 gifts to children in the Wyre Forest whose families are receiving additional support.
We were so touched that in the current difficult climate with so much financial uncertainty, people were willing to give so generously to provide a little additional Christmas cheer to a local family who are experiencing difficulties. The gifts we passed on were wonderful and had obviously been chosen with care and consideration by those who donated.
Once, again, we would also like to thank the Kidderminster Shuttle, The Swan Centre, Weavers Wharf and those companies and organisations who arranged group giving during the appeal for their hard work and commitment to thinking of others at this time of year. Community spirit and Social Action is very much alive and kicking in The Wyre Forest.
